The role

Reporting to the Group Account Director, you will be responsible for growing and developing a portfolio of clients and providing commercial quality assurance across the delivery to your clients.

You will have 2 main objectives:

1. Build and develop client relationships to meet your sales targets for your client accounts.

2. Provide commercial leadership, direction and support to the team of user experience consultants to deliver measurable competitive advantage to clients online sales and user experience.

You need a good understanding of the web and its importance in the future of marketing & business and be interested in the ability of usability and user insights to help improve the customer experience offered on digital channels.

Responsibilities

Managing sales targets – generating and managing a sales pipeline to meet monthly sales targets for your portfolio of accounts

Client management – working with the Group Account Director and business development team to build and develop strategic relationships with existing and new clients.

Writing proposals – formulating the approach and developing proposals for user experience research, consultancy and advice to your clients.

Project briefing – ensuring project teams are fully briefed on your clients business, project objectives and required deliverables?

Commercial quality assurance – develop and maintain an understanding of your clients business, their customers and market context.

Required experience

Graduate – preferably in marketing / business management / HCI or Similar.

Currently working as an Account Director / Account Manager with at least 4 years experience either gained in an agency environment – full service marketing, digital or creative.

You should have at least 2 years experience of managing senior relationships, with responsibility for account development and management.

You must have worked in a project-based environment and had responsibility for delivering projects on-time and on-budget.

Essential qualities

Excellent relationship skills – you must be able create rapport and relationships across a range of clients and functions – marketing, ecommerce, IT.

Excellent communication skills – you must be fully-confident to take on a client-facing role with the necessary skills required to work with and manage clients, suppliers and colleagues.

Passion & creative thinking – Our client is passionate about delivering high-quality, effective and value-added services to their clients. This requires a degree of passion for what they do and creative thinking to ensure that everything they do is a success.

Attention to detail – Our client prides its self on the quality of its deliverables, from an e-mail to a client presentation. Achieving this, especially when under pressure, will be a critical success factor for the role.
